How-do-you-do Vanessa

Sorry for the delay I haven't had time to expect at his over again until now. I had already looked at permissions which are identical for administrator and myself. Withal I worked through your solution until I reached 2) 3) Click advanced ->owner. In that location was no option in this screen of advanced and then owner. There was owner,  with a change  link simply again no option to edit and whichever page I looked at I couldn't discover "Replace possessor on subcontainer and objects".

Could information technology work if I disabled inherited permissions ?

Hi Desiree,

I believe I may be experiencing the aforementioned issue every bit Trey, or this is something else, but I am also having issues with uninstalling folders. I started experiencing this a few months ago while trying to delete some game files from the Steam binder. At beginning I thought it was a virus or malware, but I couldn't notice anything.

So I formatted my computer and reinstalled the operating organization, hoping that would fix my problems. But I am still running into this wall and would like to find a fix.

As you can see from my screenshot, I am attempting to delete the game binder KOAReckoning, just am running into the issue of requiring permission from myself. I have even set the ownership of the folder, sub-folders, and files to myself. I am an administrator and I own the files, yet I can't delete them.

Hi,

Deleting the file using CMD is another way that nosotros tin suggest for you to remove the game files. Type RD /S /Q plus the file path that you would like to delete.

Example: RD /S /Q C:\Plan Files (x86)\Steamapps\common\GreyGoo
